Bobbing for Books 4

Let me introduce you to Ladybug Girl. She’s a fun and independent young lady. On Thursday, October 4 “We Give Books” is sponsoring their annual “Read for the Record”. This event sets a goal each year for the most people to read the same book on the same day. You can even read it online at their website. They also help to donate books to kids. This year’s book is Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad. You can sign-up to pledge to read the book on this site.  Thousands of preschool and kindergarten students across Minneapolis will be reading it on October 4. Ladybug Girl introduces you to Lulu. There are also some fun activities at the book’s website. We are excited for Read for the Record at our house.  Now I am just tryint to round up the whole Bug Squad before October 4!

Gone Fishing

One of the most fun things about taking family portraits is that it gives me opportunities to reconnect with good friends! Alison is one of those friends. We both love to read and run and she is always an encouragement to me. She is one of those friends who you can pick things up with immediately after not seeing one another for a while. It was fun to spend time with her beautiful family. We even ended up at the fishing hole.

Alison Peterson - Thanks Sarah! Gotta love the freckles…

Little Traveler

Our dear friends Hanna and Christopher were able to spend an evening visiting with us last weekend! They are here for a time from Sweden – enjoying family and being new parents. It was a privilege to spend time in conversation  - listening to their stories and sharing visions for ministry and life.  We took a few minutes to capture their family together. Little Asher is a beautiful easy-going little baby reflecting his parent’s calm and nurturing spirit. Thankful for the time we were together. LOVE the images that were captured!

Brothers & Sisters

I always wanted an older brother. These little girls are so lucky to have two such kind and caring older brothers. It was such a pleasure to spend a bit of an evening getting to know them a bit better.
